Amir Khan is the most famous superstar of bollywood and his blockbuster movies say all about him. We can't define his success and position in words. He is a fabulous actor of Indian Cinema.and apart from being a good actor, Amir is also a good director, producer, social activist, movie writer and human lover.

Amir Khan established himself as a popular personality of India because of his participation in social activities and his influential movies related to education and social reforms. Amir khan is famous as "Mr.perfectionist" in Bollywood Industry.

Everyone believe that Amir Khan is a deserving actor for awards, yet he prefer to stay away from these award functions and does not attend any award function.The only reason is his distrust and lack of faith toward the award ceremonies.

There is a story behind his distrust. Before 90s Amir Khan usually went to award functions.but after that he decided to stop visiting these ceremonies when his extraordinary acting in movie "Dil" was not appreciated by any award in award functions. Amir khan was expecting to get best actor award for that movie but he did not got the same. Its assumed that after the incident this great super star started to stay away from these ceremonies and award functions.

Although Aamir khan has won 9 Filmfare Awards, 4 National Film Awards. Apart from these, Khan is also honored with Government of India's Padma Shree in 2003 and Padma Bhushan in 2010.
